Associate Account Manager

Based in Philadelphia, Bartlett is a global independent Property & Casualty insurance broker with overseas offices in the United Kingdom, Continental Europe and Asia. Our clients comprise a broad array of industries including technology, manufacturing and real estate.

Our Associate Account Manager is a vital part of the Bartlett U.S. team who will present a positive image of Bartlett & Company in all dealings with insurers, customers and the public in general. The team priorities are to ensure all client needs are met, client records are handled confidentially and maintained properly on our computer systems, communicated effectively internally and externally, and to maintain a positive working relationship with all colleagues.

You will be supporting Account Managers and Account Executives by handling daily contact with carriers and clients, policy checks and reviews, processing policy documentation and general correspondence, participating in marketing new and renewal accounts and a variety of tasks necessary for the service and retention of accounts.

The Associate Account Manager must be very confident with Word, Excel and Power Point activities and must be comfortable working with an agency management system, preferably Applied Epic. The candidate must be an independent worker, comfortable contacting customers or carriers, helping with underwriting submissions, handling complex spreadsheets, preparing proposals, binders and invoices.

Working as a team is a Bartlett priority, so help is always available. Although a candidate must be licensed, we encourage the pursuit of designations.
