Join the team defining and building the future of High Speed Data services for the largest broadband provider in the country. The Digital Home team is launching game-changing new consumer products that impact millions of broadband customers both in and out of the home. As part of this team, you will be able to positively impact millions of customers as they experience Comcast Wi-Fi services.
As a Director of Product Management Public Wi-Fi, you will lead the product strategy, roadmap, metrics, and customer experience for 19M public hotspots in the US market. This includes both the connectivity experience and application experience for public Wi-Fi customers. This person is responsible for managing the product lifecycle, from gathering requirements, to developing feature specifications, managing feature requests, partnering with UX and Engineering, and ultimately drive delivery of the product/solution.
The ideal candidate will have direct experience with home networking products, Wi-Fi routers, and cloud networking. Experience in SMB or Enterprise Wi-Fi a plus. You must be self-motivated, proactive, eager and willing to work collaboratively with stakeholders in adjacent products and organizations. You must be comfortable working with remote teams. Previous experiences should include
products with a mix of software and hardware dependencies and customer-facing roles in a product or technical product capacity.
In this role, you will:
Drive product strategy and roadmap for Xfinity Wi-Fi Hotspots
Identify customers, needs, and use cases. Translate high-level product
requirements into detailed user stories
Develop relationships with Business stakeholders and UX/Engineering
teams to deliver new products and features
Drive requirements with firmware and hardware teams
Develop and maintain relationships with 3rd parties providing technology
Monitor, analyze, and prioritize customer feedback and issues
Navigate large organizations and cross-functional teams
Operate in an agile development environment, matrix engineering
Research industry and competitor trends to effectively position products
Undergraduate degree in Engineering (preferably Computer Eng, Electrical
Technical understanding and experience with Wi-Fi, Hotspot 2.0/Passpoint,
Technical understanding of home networking and wireless routers
Passion for consumer, home networking and Wi-Fi related products
Experience working on mass-consumer products
6 years of product management experience
Exceptional communication skills are essential
Highly motivated and can work in fast-paced teams
Comfortable working with geo-graphically dispersed teams
- Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
- Generally requires 10+ years related experience
