Sales Account Managers (Gift and Sports Licensing) The Sales Account Manager will focus on generating revenue from specialty accounts (existing and prospective) through a relationship-based approach within a defined territory to support the growth of B2B sales. ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILTIES Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory. Create and manage a territory plan which includes managing limited existing business and growing new accounts. Plan and organize personal sales strategy, manage pipeline, and provide reporting to Sales management on an ongoing basis. Pro-actively contact customers via phone, email and meetings to generate sales according to specific target goals. Take orders and coordinate with Customer Service for any unusual service requests and order placement. Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotes for existing and prospective customers. Research sources for developing prospective customers and for information to develop their potential. Provide reporting and analysis of account activity and growth. Keep abreast of new products, promotional trends, market conditions, and competitive activities. Participate in sales meetings, customer visits and trade shows. Work cross-functionally with multiple Corkcicle departments including Sales, Customer Service and Warehousing to ensure customer satisfaction. Assist with special projects as needed to grow the Corkcicle brand. Reports to Sales Management and has no direct reports. QUALIFICATIONS KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Bachelor s degree with 2 to 3 years of sales or account management related experience preferred. Exceptional interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills. Exceptional customer service and relationship-building skills. Attention to detail and data accuracy. Strong organizational skills. Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments. Self-starter with the ability to think creatively, work independently and as a part of a team to solve problems and identify opportunities. Must be proficient with ability to develop his/her own spreadsheets, databases, and general correspondence. Ability to analyze and interpret various forms of data. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications and contact management software. Familiarity with NetSuite preferred. Travel up to 20% to company shows and customer visits. Ability to work within the core hours of 9:00 am 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional needs to accommodate a flexible schedule outside of core hours / weekdays. WORKING CONDITIONS / PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / FLSA STATUS Indoor, open office environment. The office noise level is moderately loud. May be required to work overtime and weekends as needed. Must be able to sit for long periods of time while simultaneously working on the computer and telephone. Must be able to lift up to 10 lbs. occasionally. May be required to travel by plane or car to company shows and customer visits within the United States.
