(*As of December 31, 2018) Job Purpose (Job Summary): Invesco is seeking to hire a Head of Global Product Management, Invesco Private Markets. The Private Markets platform includes offerings in Real Estate, Private Equity, Private Credit, Venture & Fund of Funds. The general role of the Head of Global Product Management is to further develop Invesco Private Markets Product Management & Fundraising platform to improve and increase the development and fundraise for new products. The role requires the ability to work across several Invesco teams to ensure a structured approach and successful launch of new products globally. The role requires a high degree of organizational and interpersonal skills. The Head of Global Product Management will lead a geographically dispersed team and will act as a catalyst and point person for new product launches and leading in capital raising efforts. This person will also be responsible for driving the overall launch and marketing plan for new products. The ideal candidate for this role will be a seasoned investment professional with previous progressive investment management experience in private markets. However, since this individual must be a highly skilled communicator with demonstrated ability to build product management processes, we are very open to other types of asset management experience. Key Responsibilities / Duties: Build relations and coordination with all Invesco Private Market Teams including but not limited to Invesco Private Equity, Invesco Real Estate, Invesco Credit Partners, and Invesco Private Equity Asia Lead the coordination and preparation of new product approvals Lead in the research and development of new strategies ensuring that the platform is pro-active not reactive Support Invesco Real Estates CPM, Legal, Finance, Operational and Portfolio Management teams with fund structuring and documentation Develop marketing collateral and a marketing plan with the support of the Portfolio Management, Sales Partners and CPM teams Support Client Portfolio Management (CPM) team and work with the Investor Relations team to coordinate client/prospect outreach Work with the Investor Relations team to ensure seamless hand-off of prospects to clients while onboarding Work with CPM, Investor Relations and Portfolio Management teams to prepare for client pitches Drive initial investor due diligence working with internal and external team members Work with Investor Relations team to meet ongoing client needs ensure that all information requested is provided in a timely manor Research information in the real estate/private equity industry, including private equity funds, distressed credit, Asian private equity, and institutional and retail investor mandates Work Experience / Knowledge: Previous experience in investment management. Demonstrated record of success in effectively partnering with various constituencies and stakeholders as needed. Prior product management & development experience is required. The ideal candidate will also possess a strong work ethic, be willing and able to travel extensively (both domestically and globally) and be very detail-oriented.
